The Legion of Mary

            The Legion of Mary is an association of Catholics who, with the sanction of the Church and with the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, are dedicated to give Love, Honor, Prayer, and Service to God and Church.

            The Legion of Mary was founded by Frank Duff (1889-1980), a great man who spent many of his years in mission work and made many great sacrifices.  He exhibited true devotion and love to Mary, Our Mother.  He formed the First Praesidium of The Legion of Mary in Dublin, Ireland on September 7, 1920. 

            Today the Legion of Mary is a worldwide association with 6 million active members and 20 million auxiliaries.  All are prayers members.
