Liturgy of the Word for Children

            Liturgy of the Word for Children is offered during the Sunday 11am Mass from Advent to Pentecost.  Children are invited to the Word of God proclaimed especially for them.  Children ages 5 through 11 listen to the readings and Gospel from their own special book called the Children's Lectionary.  As a group they then discuss how God is talking to them through these readings.  The children then rejoin the assembly at the offertory.

            The innocent voices of our children reveal God in a unique way.  Many who serve this ministry say they receive more from the children than they give.  We will welcome anyone to share your faith with God's most precious gift of all, our children.  It counts as volunteer hours for students.  It is a great idea for seniors!
